moriartyssadisticconscious asked: foodgawker. com. Trust me, you can find anything and everything there. It's worth signing up for (it's free) because then you can save everything you find (it even organizes everything for you by category so you don't have too). I've found a ton of stuff on there I want to try.

The most relaxed Valentines Day ever.
Instead of going out for a fancy, expensive meal, or buying each other huge gifts, my girlfriend and I decided that we’d get a take-away (we opted for Indian, and picked a few dishes at random off the menu - they were goooood) and made each other cards, whilst spending no more than 10 pounds on a present :) Thus, Valentines Day felt really special. Just us two in her room eating food...

My girlfriend is in a lecture
I was going to go, but a 2 hour lecture on the history of penal policy (hehehe ‘penal’ sounds dirty) would probably want to make me eat my own brain It’s strange being in an empty house that isn’t mine… I might have a cup of tea. Using a kettle that isn’t mine. And tea bags and milk I haven’t paid for. I feel like a 21st century slightly shit thief, a...

I’ll be on a train to Sheffield :) Valentines Day is one of my favourite days of the year, and I intend to celebrate it fully by eating junk food and drinking wine with my beautiful girlfriend. I got her present today too ;) It’s a toy. The suggested age range on it is 5-11 years old. I think this tells you something about our relationship. (By the way, she’s not ACTUALLY 5-11...

Catholics condemn contraception... Again. →
I think that one day, religious leaders (especially Catholics) are going to have to make a great and sincere apology for the harm and death and disease, as well as the detriment to psychological well-being, that their attitude towards condoms has caused. US Catholics have strongly criticised a White House rule that would make Church-linked schools and hospitals give employees access to birth ...

A Clockwork Orange
There’s a production of A Clockwork Orange on tonight at my university, and I’m so excited to go! The book is one of my favourite books of all time. If you haven’t read it, you definitely should. There really is no excuse; unlike most classics people tell you to read, it’s not even that long (around 130 pages) so you can get it done in a day if you try! Kubrick’s...

He’s absolutely loving it, we were gym buddies before and I took him along for a climbing session! Next time he was there, he got the annual pass and is getting some climbing shoes ;) What can I say, it’s an addictive sport! ;) His aim - 6a before the end of term My aim - V8 before the end of Summer With a bit of training, I know we’re both going to achieve our goals!

If Atheists Paused to Think
armchairapologist: If everyone who subscribed to a secular world view really DID think, would they actually be an atheist? There is surely an uncertainty principle at work within the Universe, or at least enough of a one to make the existence of an extra-physical reality possible. And thus the most they should ever call themselves is agnostic. That is the definition of neither atheism nor...
